Nancy Potts LMHC

Nancy Potts, LMHC, works with individuals and couples, primarily focusing on millennials and young adults. She helps clients cope with anxiety, racing thoughts, stress, relationship issues, family conflicts, and attachment difficulties. Additionally, she assists those seeking to resolve past traumatic experiences.

Nancy strives to create a warm and trusting environment, free of judgment and inclusive of cultural competency, to promote a safe space for self-discovery and personal growth. Together, you will explore opportunities for self-acceptance, skill-building, and understanding the mind-body connection to free yourself from the patterns and limitations imposed by your past, culture, society, and, most importantly, yourself.

In collaboration with Nancy, you will navigate difficult emotions and feelings while learning to recognize and change negative thought patterns. You will gain the ability to feel comfortable and confident with yourself, increase your ability to cope with stressors, improve your relationships, and resolve past traumas. This process will occur in a safe, judgment-free space.

Nancy’s work combines interventions from various therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She believes each client is unique, and her treatment will be tailored to your goals, preferences, and desired outcomes for therapy.
