Jessica Matthews LCSW, LICSW
Jessica Matthews, LCSW, LICSW, is a trauma-informed licensed psychotherapist working primarily with individuals aged 20-38. She specializes in those struggling with life transitions, grief, and loss. She also assists those questioning their identity and provides LGBTQ+ affirming therapy. Many of her clients have experienced significant changes in their lives, such as moving across the country, changing careers, the loss of a person, a job, a relationship, one's health, or a sense of safety/security. Life transitions, even positive ones, can leave us feeling stuck, anxious, confused, lost, and even in despair.
Together, your work with Jessica will help you move through difficult emotions and feelings while learning to recognize and change negative thought patterns. You will gain the ability to feel comfortable and confident with yourself, increase your ability to cope with your stressors, and improve your relationships and connections with others.
This process will happen in a safe, judgment-free space. Life transitions do not need to be overwhelming. Having the right support can make this a time of self-growth and personal betterment.
